About our water……

Every drop of Zaza Purified water is sourced from carefully protected underground deep wells and taken through a rigorous purification system made up of 12 Quality processes to ensure you are getting pure and refreshing water consistently every time you open a Zaza, anytime, anywhere.
1
Source sampling

Source sampling – we take samples from our water source every 6 hours. Not daily or weekly

2
Sand filtration

for particle and Fe3+ removal as well as nitrification process.

3
Pre-treatment

To adjust for PH and iron oxidation

4
Ozone water treatment technique

Ozone gas is dissolved into the water where it reacts with and oxidizes any remaining bacteria, viruses and organic matter. These are then removed from the water during the subsequent water purification processes.

5
1st stage micro-filtration process –

Use of pharmaceutical grade micro filters used for water filtration. These filters are designed to remove particles as small as 1.0 micron in diameter. The filtration process is monitored and tested hourly.

6
Demineralization Process

All the harmful minerals are removed from the water by the use of Reverse Osmosis water purification technique. This is a process by which a high pressure pump (approximately 1,180 psi) is used to push the water through special membranes called semi-permeable membranes to reverse the natural phenomenon of osmosis.

7
Water storage and monitoring

The demineralized water is received in storage tanks where it is careful monitored every 6 hours.

8
2nd stage micro-filtration process

The mass of demineralized water is passed through a 2nd set of pharmaceutical grade micro filters used for water filtration designed to remove particles as small as 0.2 micron in diameter. Again, this filtration process is monitored and tested hourly.

9
Ultra-violet light disinfection

Any impurity left in the water mass is completely eradicated using the ultra-violet light disinfection process.

10
Bottling control

Bottling is done under very high standards using the state-of-the-art filling equipments. The process is monitored and quality control tests are carried out on an hourly basis.

11
Packaging control

Packaging is carried out under very strict quality control conditions. Bottles, labels and closures that do not meet the company’s set standard are rejected.

12
Corporate Quality Assurance Program

The factory has a fully staffed quality assurance and control department and a laboratory that is fully equipped to deliver products in accordance with regulatory standards
